Why happens when a game is cancelled?

When a game is postponed, cancelled, or a player withdraws any picks associated with that game are not counted so it's not registered as a win, loss, or push.  The pick, though, is counted towards the league minimum picks count for week but is not counted towards maximum pick count for week.
